After much research and no reviews to read anywhere on the web I decided to take a chance and order this bench. Here is what I can report.I am 5'10" 180lbs. I might go up to 85lb dumb bells max using this bench and it can handle it and much more. The literature states 650lbs max including the person and by the looks of it I agree. This is a very sturdy bench. When it arrived I noticed that the packaging is thorough. No scratches, dents or missing parts. The box was heavy. Assembly was diagram based, simple and fast. The footprint of space taken up is a bit large. This is not a particularly compact bench. I could have easily used it at Bally, 24 Hour Fitness or the Golds gyms I've visited over the years. The only criticism I might have would be that the cushions are a bit stiff. Maybe they will break in over time. Not that big of an issue, just looking for something to complain about.
